Somehow with all the YouTube crap I lost a day this week and it put me behind on my duck egg hatch responsibilities, I’m not to happy about it.
Wasted more time than you can imagine this past week dealing with YouTube and their deletion of my video, it has literally sucked the energy out of me and I still have to take care of the ducks, plus it’s hatch week…
It’s so funny the ducks are lapping the house just like last year’s flock did when I let them out of the pen in the morning.
Took a total of 73 ducklings to the barn today, when I sorted through the eggs to see what had to be rescued there were 18 that pipped and died in the shells, if I wouldn’t of been so side tracked this week because of YouTube I might of caught those 18 ducklings and saved them.
I did finally get down into the swamp to do some cutting of the bulrushes and when I was at the creek cutting I heard Dug barking and I got a good visual of the big hawk that is coming in killing ducks.
Dug did his job and took off after the hawk running like a driven dog through the mud to the yard and headed off the hawk it was so awesome to see, I wish I could of caught it on video.
