First episode in a series about raising baby ducks in your backyard. The ducks are White Layer 300 ducks from Metzer farm.
I have raised chickens but want to find out the benefits of ducks. They seem to be easier on the land, this breed produced 50% more eggs in their lifetime than chickens. They are more cold hardy and durable than chickens.
Come join me in my journey to see which is better and how to raise these little guys.
