How to tell the gender of your Pekin duck

Pekin ducks are very similar and look the same. However, there are some simple ways to find out the gender of your duck.¬
One way is to examine the tail of your Pekin. Males will have a curled feather called a drake feather , while a female's tail feathers will be smooth and together.
Another simple way to find out if your duck is a he or a she is to analyze the sounds they make. Males will make sounds that sound more like squacks than quacks. This is what they sound like. ...
Females quack though, which sounds like this....
Also, males tend to bite the back of a female's neck and stand on her while mating, so the duck who shows this "biting the neck" behavior will probably be the male.
