The Duck Chronicles Episode Twenty Nine - Everyone is Doing Fine

Winter continues but other then some slipping and sliding on the ice no one seems to care, no one except the chickens that is. They haven't been outside much but the ducks seem to enjoy all the cold weather and just keep on rocking.

Hans, Franz and Arnold all literally looked like their feathers were frozen early this morning, but didn't seem to care and they thawed out as soon as the sun sort of came up. More snow is on the way but it will be in the 50s tomorrow so it is all going to be gone soon.

A few of my fruit trees that went to blossom early likely got nuked, they will be fine but not produce any fruit, it really is okay they are not really read to produce much anyway. I think it was a combo of the warm winter and first year in the ground that had them come out a bit early.

Buddy and Joe have been separated from the rest of the flock. The others beat up on Buddy pretty badly and we have decided that one pair of geese is all we will keep long term. The rest will become roasted deliciousness soon.

Our broody duck went off the job so we got rid of her eggs. I will explain how you get 18 eggs under one duck today, it isn't hard.
