Well the nasty weather the weatherman forecasted is here, actually it feels colder than they say, there is a nasty north wind that is making it feel like -45°C
Mother Nature has given me a dead line and the dead line is today, the ducks absolutely have to get their new home today no excuses.
Today I'm letting the ducks out of their shed for only 30 minutes at a time, the ground is so cold their feet dam near instantly freeze.
Mid day it still hasn't warmed up it only got to -20.5°C, it was a cold day working on the barn.
Got the barn done later than I would of liked it was around 8;00 pm and we had to get the ducks out of the shack in the dark, they wouldn't co-operate so I ended up catching them one at a time and putting them in the barn.
It took over 50 mins to catch all of them and get them to safety, I was frozen solid and unfortunately I discovered another female Muscovy that had frozen feet, she was instantly put into the hospital. ----------------------------------------------
