Great news today Ms. Icecovy the Botulism Muscovy female duck is eating on her own today, she's made a dent in her food and water no more force feeding. Her feces is completely normal now no more diarrhea, nice firm brown duck poop and she is now walking she does have a bit of a wobble but she is standing on her own now.
It's a beautiful day +5°C and sunny and the sound of spring is in the air, the ducks are going crazy with the increase in temperature. Now with the huge melt it's going to get nasty messy in the pen.
Today's egg recon was more than likely one of the worst so far, it seems another group of ducks are going into a moult but it's far too early for egg hatching anyways.
When ever I'm near the pen talking the ducks go crazy quacking, I had some friends over and we couldn't talk near the pen the ducks go crazy quacking when they here my voice.
