Another beautiful day +3°C before the big deep freeze hit us here again, they are forecasting -22°C tonight.
I've got one Muscovy female that is making herself bleed pulling on her feathers, it has to be new feathers she's doing this to. Some of the other Muscovy are doing this also to themselves, I remember when they were young ducklings doing this to themselves when their new feathers were coming in.
The warmer weather is causing the duck's shed to be really wet inside, I'm going to take advantage of the increase in temperature today and get all the feces ladened ice off the walls and the corners of the shed.
Got 19 duck eggs and 2 chicken eggs today
The warmer weather today is making it easy for the ducks to get at the lawn where it's plowed and having a snack of grass.
The ducks did a lot of touring today, all over the property. ----------------------------------------------
