Another freaking cold day on the duck adventure, no ducks were outside waiting for this morning.
They came out to eat at 7;00 am and then went right back into the shed.
Ice in the water pails that are rated to -20°F, this is absolutely the coldest day I can ever remember in December it feels like January weather.
The ducks are getting fresh straw today in the shed, you have to change it lots in this cold weather so they have dry straw at night, much easier to keep warm in dry straw.
Chickens are so cold they let me pick them up.
I tried to herd the ducks back into the building but they wouldn't co-operate with me, then they decided on their own and went back in.
Eggs everywhere today in the shed.
Muscovy female was the last to go into the shed for me today. ----------------------------------------------
