Breeding Brahminy Duck or Ruddy Sheldrake / Shelduck at Pangong Tso lake in Ladakh, Jammu & Kashmir state, India. This is a breeding pair of Sheldrake with quadruple young chicks that they are shepherding around the high altitude trans-Himalayan lake, at the end of their breeding season. This bird is known as the surkhaab or surkhwab in Hindi.
