We got good snow dump last night, and this morning I discovered the rogue hen out again she is not coming back to the pen at night she must have a bunch of eggs underneath the building.
The ducks had no problem with the snow they were basically 4 wheeling it all around the yard in the snow. But they have no idea what to do in the snow this time, it's the most snow they've seen yet in their lives.
It was so funny watching them go through the snow, even the chickens were touring around the yard in the snow.
Even with the snow the ducks couldn't resist the water from the drain on their bath tub, they love water so much.
I got the lawn tractor out and ploughed part of the yard so the ducks could have some grass to eat, they went for the green grass under the snow like there was no tomorrow.
This early arrival of winter is seriously screwing up my Duck Adventure Expansion, instead of working on the expansion I'm dealing with an early winter. I have to make sure the ducks are taken care during this early arrival of winter and then I can get back to working on the barn for them.
The Muscovy have no interest in what the Rouen & Pekin do, they basically have their own routine and it doesn't involve the rest of the ducks.
The Muscovy drakes are mating non stop with the Pekin & Rouen females, but the Rouen & Pekin drakes aren't mounting the Muscovy females, the Muscovy females won't let them get on top, only the Muscovy drakes have that privilege. ----------------------------------------------
