Well winter is here full blown and shows no signs of going away and coming back when it's suppose to be here next month.
The Morning Rush ended up being a stampede in the snow to simply end up sitting down in front of the pen in the snow.
The ducks seem to have no problem with the snow at all, even the chickens are all over the place in the snow which is really strange since last year's chickens wouldn't walk in the snow.
The Muscovy can't fly south but I bet they wish they could now, crazy thing is the ducks don't sit in the sun to warm up they love the shade of the trees which makes no sense at all.
Rocco is really hurting today, I'm really worried he was fine yesterday and today he's crying every time he moves or tries to get up. At his age this isn't a good thing it's freaking us out big time.
It's so cold the ice is freezing on the ducks backs, which just shows how they have no heat loss through their feathers.
Later in the day the ducks ended up playing non-stop in their bath tub.
The front end loader guy never did show up to move my back building, so I ended up using a 4 ton come-along and my cube van to move the building so I can get the fence wire up in the pen. Broke the 4 ton come-along with a full load on it, don't buy a made in China piece of junk when you have a serious job to do, especially a 4 ton come-along.
The heated garden hose bag I'm using for the water supply for the duck's pen so far is working great, it seems to have solved my water problems for the ducks. I was lucking and got it for half price from someone on eBay who was liquidating his inventory.
