Bad news on the duck adventure Ms. Icecovy had to be re-admitted to the hospital today, I really screwed up and let her out to early.
Even though her feet looked great they were no were near ready to go outside in the winter, she's back in the hospital and I've got a call into my vet to get some new medication for her frostbite damaged feet.
My gut is telling me Ms. Icecovy is now officially an indoor duck until the warmer weather gets here.
Today there was a lot of duck chores the biggest cleaning out the barn and getting the ducks new straw for the really cold nights we are having right now, it warms up during the day and they gets really cold at night.
The wind is brutally cold, the sun makes it feel warmer since it's getting stronger in the sky but the wind is unbearable, it might only be -12°C but it feels like -25°C.
But the ducks still like to play in their bath tub ----------------------------------------------
