I had a little surprise for the Ms. Icecovy and the other ducks today, I had started some wheat seeds in the living room window about 10 days ago and now the sprouts are a good 2-3 inches tall. In theory the ducks should love these greens since they haven't had any greens all winter.

Ms. Icecovy has been laying an egg a day the last week or so she's back to normal now, she is the first one I'm going to give the fodder to. Turns out Ms. Icecovy has absolutely no interest in the wheat sprouts I left them with her and came back 8 hours later and she hadn't touched them at all.

Out in the pen I was hoping for a different reaction from the ducks concerning the wheat sprouts, and I basically got the exact same reaction as I did from Ms. Icecovy they were not interested at all in the sprouts. The chickens on the other hand showed the most interest, the chickens ended up eating most of it.

Ms. Gimp is really enjoying the warmer weather and the big melt down, now the ground is soft again and no ice she is actually touring around the pen much more with her stump leg.

Egg recon is starting to get out of hand, egg production has doubled the last 3-4 days now, and pretty soon we'll have 40-50 eggs per day for the incubator.

The ice is seriously melting, just along the duck bath tub over 16 inches of ice has disappeared, it feels strange to stand beside the bath tub now being lower now on the ground instead of standing above it on the ice.

The drakes are going crazy and need females so bad, now the Rouen drakes are doing the Pekin drakes in the kiddie pool and vice versa, they're swinging both ways now.

Found out my Muscovy ducks are a giant breed of Muscovy that is why the drakes are so big, see the link below
