Ms. Gimp is officially a TV star now, last night the TV show Right This Minute featured the 911 Rescue video from this past February, here is the link to the piece they did on the video.

Maybe Ms. Gimp stardom will help the channel grow more and I can justify my crazy plan to hatch 2,000 ducks, here's hoping.
You wouldn't believe spring has arrived its freaking cold, the wind is nasty I bet with the wind chill its -20°C.
The Rouen female ducks are starting to lay eggs now the last 3 days we've had greenish eggs every day. And egg production is up today we got 12 duck eggs in total I've notice every day it's getting more and more. But the chickens are starting to slack off, less and less chicken eggs and today we got a chicken egg the size of a pigeon egg.
The last 2 days the ducks are seriously eating lots, they've gone through 55lbs or 25kgs each day the past 2 days, and normally it's about 50lbs so consumption is up about 10%.
The outdoor Muscovy ducks are really due for a moult their feathers are getting really rough looking, so I think they are the next ducks to moult.
By about mid morning it was -8°C or about +17°F and a real nasty cold wind, but inside the drake shed it was 0°C or about 32°F the sun beating on the brown metal walls really heats the shed up and the Muscovy drakes love it inside. And the drakes have also started eating more now; maybe they are building up their strength for the big mating season coming soon.
Ms. Icecovy the frostbite Muscovy female duck is back to normal now she is now submissive and lets me pick her up with no problems at all.
It ended up warming up to -6°C not as warm as it was suppose to but better than sub-arctic freeze.
When I was filling the tub at the end of the day I couldn't help myself I had to play with the ducks with the garden hose, they love the hose and I love spraying them it makes their tails wag so they must love it.
Did a bunch of reading on breeding and hatching ducks learned a lot that is really going to help me this spring with the big hatch. But what was really interesting is the information I found out about psychology of ducks and their behaviour it turns out ducks get in a habit and they don't like change so this is why they act the way they towards me I'm a habit to them.
