This Morning Rush already had some escapee Muscovy females out of the pen, they basically come and go as they please now.
The Muscovy females give some aerial yard action, the lake is history now it's completely frozen solid.
I missed the perfect opportunity for some great duck rush me footage, they were all in the yard free ranging and I whistled them over while I was filling the kiddie pool and it was a mad rush to me, the Muscovy females and drakes actually flew to me they were so excited I was filling the pool.
The ducks decided to do a Rush to the swamp but gave up 1/4 the way and quickly retreated back to the yard.
Later in the day the ducks decided to have a late afternoon sleep, I had no choice but to wake them up and ended up having a conversation with one of the Rouen females, I figured since I woke them I should fill their kiddie pools so they could have some fun.
I ended up playing with the garden hose with them, the air temperature was -1°C and they couldn't get enough of the garden hose, the ducks love water big time. ----------------------------------------------
