Well mother nature forced me back to filming today, I wanted to take a bit more time away from the duck adventure on YouTube since Rocco passed away this week, but I guess she has other plans for me.
This is the very first lost we had in 2 years with birds on our property, my gut is telling me it's a big owl that has found my duck adventure in my back yard.
Egg production is down since the drakes have been separated from the females or the females are eating the eggs before I get to the barn in the morning, which could be the case since I have been late going down to the barn in the mornings this week.
If the weather would warm up a touch we could release Ms. Icecovy our frostbite Muscovy duck victim back to the flock, she is doing great and has healed amazingly, but it's just a touch too cold out yet the weather is a damp cold now.
Tonight I'm going to sit out and see if I can get the predator with the shot gun and end this killing of my ducks ----------------------------------------------
