Poodle Given 'Day of the Dead' Grooming Makeover

A dog owner was slammed after giving her pet with a bizarre 'Day of the Dead' style skeleton look. Samantha Hum decorated her three-year-old miniature Poodle named Glow Cotton Candy with striking black and white stripes. She then stuck brightly coloured jewels on her neck, torso and ears before the pooch stood on a table shaking. The pooch resembled one of the participants in Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, a Mexican holiday which involves family and friends gathering to pray for lost relatives on their spiritual journey. A video of the dog at home in Quebec, Canada, sparked outrage online with some viewers branding it ''cruel'' and saying the dog appeared to scared.
