Bulldog is a medium sized breed which is considered as 4th most popular dog breed according to American kennel club. It is also called as English bulldog or British bulldog. Don’t confuse it with American bulldog or French bulldog which are different breeds.
Bulldogs are considered as best family dogs because of their ability to get along easily with children and other pets. English bulldogs are indoor dogs and can adjust themselves easily into an apartment life.

1. Feeding a Bulldog
Give your Bulldog a balanced diet that contains protein, carbs, vitamins and all required nutrients. Commercially available food are normally okay. There are some dog foods prepared specially for bulldogs. Check the list of ingredients on label, If first two or three ingredients on the list are meat (not meat by products) then that food is of good quality. Check for food that contain high protein and easily digestible carbs.
2. Training a Bulldog
Bulldogs are sweet and charming breed but they are also stubborn. so, training them is important to avoid developing any bad habits.
3. Grooming:
Grooming is essential to make your bulldog look clean and build a connection with him. It will also give you an opportunity to check you bulldog for any kind of abnormalities parasites skin problems etc.
5. Health Care:
Bulldogs have an average life span of 8 to 12 years. They have a small head and narrow nostrils which make them more susceptible for nose and breathing problems.
Bulldogs are generally more prone to certain health conditions and you need to have a knowledge to counter them.
Along with breathing problems, they can easily become victims of hip or elbow dysplasia, cherry eye, elongated soft palate etc.
