Traveling Fulltime with Dogs | How we Groom our Dogs on the Road | RV Living

When you found out we have 6 dogs in our 350 square foot Silver Eagle Bus Conversion, you probably thought we were an insane Fulltime Family, right? Well we definitely aren't your typical fulltime rv living family!
In this video, we are bringing you along as we go to a self dog wash with our three biggest dogs....Theodore (Standard Poodle), Eloise (Standard Poodle) , and Kevin (Labradoodle). In true Red, White, and Bethune fashion, we have all three kids (Ben, Molly, and Eli) in tow! They help us wash and dry the dogs! Because the did so well, we took them to get some delicious ice cream afterwards! I will say, If you want your dogs to smell great at the self dog wash, I would consider brining your own dog shampoo and dog conditioner with you. One of the downsides of this self pet wash was the quality of their shampoos. They do come included with the price, as well as towels and 30 minutes of wash time. We ended up paying for 3 wash times (Total of an hour and a half) to be able to wash and dry all three big dogs.
Once we get back to the RV, Jenn dusts off her dog grooming and pet styling tools to give the dogs a haircut! With us being fulltime rv living, we decided to keep some equipment from the sale of Jenn's grooming salon (Jenn's Pup 'n Suds) to save money on the road with dog grooming costs. She sets up her portable dog grooming table and gets to work! The dogs are definitely loving their fresh new looks! As promised, here's a link to a more in detail video of simple things, like nail trimming and ear cleaning, that you can do in between finding a dog groomer on the road https://youtu.be/Qh_yzNZGBsg
It sure was a long and exhausting day! Luckily the dogs should be good for a while! What do you do with your dogs on the road during your fulltime travel? Our shower is definitely too small to wash our pups! Maybe we will add an outdoor shower to the list of bus upgrade / renovation projects to do! (Kyle's RV Projects to do list grows by the day, lol!) We hope you enjoy this video, I mean, who doesn't love some puppy love?!
