HOW TO GET A MUZZLE ON YOUR DOG

This is Pablo a 1yr old Maltese/ Shih Tzu that has bitten everyone in the family for being touched when he doesn't want to be touched. Because of this behaviour issue he hasn't been able to be successfully groomed which has resulted in some matting of his hair. This clip is our 3rd session in. Baby steps to success rather than giant leaps of failure!😁✊
So I have been called in to rectify the issue and teach his owners how to handle and control this problem. One of our goals is to appropriately fit him a muzzle with minimal stress and within a few sessions so we can get him to the groomers. 🐩✂
Showing how to correct the problem behaviour and reinforce good behaviours is another main goal along with sharing an understanding of how to fulfill his needs mentally and physically through regular walks, training and exercise. We don't just try to stop a problem we seek the underlying causes and aim at a solution 😎👌🏼
