Miracles in Progress: Multiple Horrifically Matted & Filthy puppy Mill Rescue Dogs Receive Makeover

What has been taking place at Lily’s Haven the past week and a half is nothing short of miracles. Changing dogs’ lives with the clip of a scissor is truly heart warming. As you know, the majority of our dogs from our last rescue came to us quite a cosmetic mess. And while this looks unpleasant to us, it feels even worse for the dogs. Mats pull at the skin every time they move. Dirt and feces cause skin irritation. And hair overgrowth causes discomfort in the warm weather.
Dog by dog, our grooming and bathing team has been touching these dogs’ lives, showing them the love they deserve, and giving them the freedom they never knew was possible.
