From Sheep To Sleek Dog Hair Cut | Taking Silk To The Groomers

Hey, everybody!
Today we took Silk (my mum's Chinese Crested Powder Puff) to the groomers after an unfortunate incident which has left her with matted fur. She is now much like a sheep and we would like her to be all trimmed up and not weighed down for the summer!
It's Silk's first time at the dog groomer so she is a little nervous and so is my mum. We are trying out Sandra's Grooming Shed which opened up near the start of this year. My mum had seen an ad for Sandra's Grooming Shed in the Waimate Trader so she booked an appointment using the phone number. We had recently heard some negative things about the other dog salon in Waimate which I guess must have put mum off a wee bit.
Dog grooming must be a difficult job as you must please the animal and the owner. Owners can be very grumpy and picky. Mum and I didn't really know what to expect. It took Sandra a long time to cut, wash, and clip Silk but this was due to the extreme nature of silks matted fur. The grooming only cost $60 which I thought was very cheap. Most importantly though, is that Silk came back very happy and looking very well groomed!
I'm glad Silk had a positive experience and I am glad that mum will now have an easier job of brushing silk.
