Finding someone to trust with your dog is difficult business. We understand. That’s how we got into this business in the first place. First and foremost, it is our responsibility to understand your dog, their behaviors, their personality, and how best to care for them. We have been doing just that thousands of Nashville’s most prized possessions for years. Southpaws started life as a franchise in 2008 and went independent in 2016. Our crew has been trusted by thousands of Nashville parents to look after their dogs because they know we treat each dog like they were our own.
SouthPaws is an open play dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility. We exist to be your dog’s home away from home. Whether you just need a day off, need boarding for vacation or a business trip, or want a clean smelling pup, we have you covered. Our 9,000 square foot facility is divided into 4 distinct playgroups. The dogs are separate by size and most importantly, temperment. Our supervised playgroups get over 8 hours of play per day, and our rooms are on live webcams so that you can see them while they are here.

If your dog plans to board or start daycare with us, we do require that you bring them to our location for a visit prior to leaving them for a day or the weekend so they can get used to our facilities and our team. Because of the open play nature of our facility, we do require that all dogs in attendance are fixed if over 7 months, current on shots (Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper), and comfortable around other dogs off leash.
