Dog Grooming Tips for Beginners: Techniques, Tools, & Products
All dogs no matter what their breed will require grooming. Some more than others.
Dog: Cmon...Trust me, I promise I won’t
Gentle, soap free shampoo is best and for most dogs a bath every month or so is plenty.
Dog: I can't!
By grooming your dog yourself, you’re more likely to notice any changes in their skin or nasty parasites like fleas
Dog: I won’t. I shouldn’t
Dog: ARGGGGHHH I can’t help myself...
If your dog has a big fur coat - you might want to keep them shorter and cooler in summer. Take them to your local vet clinic or groomer.
Dog: you're right, I'm not to be trusted 4
Regular brushing is important to keep your dog’s coat clean and healthy.
Apply parasite treatments once grooming is done, and only when they are completely dry.
Dog: oh boy am I going to roll in something sweet!
