In addition to regular home brushing of teeth, we do non-anaesthetic dentals as well as anesthetic dentals every couple of years. The frequency of professional anesthetic dentals depends on the dog's genetic teeth as well as home teeth care. We find that brushing the dogs teeth at home lowers the frequency of the invasive VET office professional dentals.
