I'm a huge advocate for hand stripping and/or hand plucking for a number a reasons - the main reason being for the health of the skin.
It seems like I get a lot of questions every time I post something about the benefits of carding the coat, hand stripping, and clearing out dead hairs by pulling them out of the pores. Sometimes I even get some groomers who disagree with my process and techniques.
For this episode, I'd like to answer some of the questions and comments about hand stripping (handstripping). The idea is so simple that once you understand the concept it will all become so clear. However, SIMPLE does not mean EASY. It's simple to grasp and understand the information, but the application is where the discipline comes into play.
