Try not to let your fur baby get this matted! This is hard on them as well as the groomer. Watch and see how happy he is when he is cleaned up! Now, this particular dog has difficult hair to care for...I recommend to his mom to keep him short, but she doesn't like the shaved look. It has to be done because he matts so easily.
