How to Feed a Picky Dog That Won't Eat

Will your dog not eat his or her food? We've got some quick and convenient solutions for you. Today we are going to show you 4 quick ways to get your dog to eat using simple items that don’t require any cooking or preparation. Of course Flavors is a better alternative to human foods but we wanted to provide alternatives for people who haven't tried our product yet.

Here we have four tasty foods our dogs love: unsalted chicken broth, natural peanut butter, shredded cheese, and canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling.)

00:27 - One thing to remember with chicken broth is even when you get the unsalted version, there can still be a large amount of sodium in it. Make sure you check the label and serve it appropriately. With chicken broth being liquid, it helps with hydration and is easy to pour over dry kibble.

00:43 - Peanut butter is a great source of protein for your dogs, just like it is for you and I. With the all-natural version it’s easier to mix in to your dogs food. Just remember, a few peanut butters contain xylitol, which is toxic for dogs, and peanut butter is very high in fat.

00:57 - We had to go with cheese because our dogs love cheese, but just remember some dogs don’t digest dairy well. If you’re not certain, try the other food toppers first.

01:07 - Last but not least, Pumpkin is a great source of fiber for your dog and fairly easy to mix in with your dogs kibble. Just remember to get the pure canned pumpkin and not the pumpkin pie filling.

01:18 - Like we mentioned before, Flavors are also a healthy and more convenient way to get your dog to eat. It can be sprinkled over the food or mixed with water to make savory broth. The great thing about Flavors is that they are lower in fat and healthier because they don’t contain the added ingredients found in human foods.
