In this episode of the Toronto Dog Whisperer we take a look at the price of commercial kibble verses ingredients to make your own raw food diet for your dog.

If you want to do the comparison for yourself simply take the cost of your kibble and find the price per pound. For example if a 30lb bag of kibble costs $60 then your price per pound is $2.00/lb.
This will make it easy to choose raw ingredients that are in the same price range.

Comparing a home made raw food diet against kibble is like comparing apples to oranges, but this video is all about looking at ingredients and their costs.

One of the challenges to feeding your dog a raw food diet is cost. I show you the ingredients I chose that are about the same price as kibble.

The market that I found the most affordable raw ingredients is “Al Premium Food Market”

Do some research in your area and you can find a similar source of budget ingredients to make your own raw food diet for your dog.
