I sit down with holistic veterinarian Dr. Laurie Coger to discuss Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) and raw feeding. Dr. Coger has over 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine and raw feeding. DCM has been in the news a lot lately and people have developed the mistaken conclusion that their dogs need grain and are either switching from raw to a grain-based kibble diet or they are afraid to try raw. Dr. Coger explains why feeding fresh food (a raw food diet) is superior to kibble, both grain-based and grain-free.
