BARF RAW FEED 'WILD VENISON' Dog Super Lean Game Meat Diet

Wild Venison, or deer meat, is a lean meat. It is used in BARF and Prey Model Raw Feed (PMR) raw feeding programs. It can be a nutritious source of lean protein for dogs. I personally take a few precautions before feeding venison or any wild game. I make sure I cook or freeze all wild game for at least 4 weeks prior to feeding. This is to kill any parasites that the game may be hosting and careful handling, both at the time of butchering and at the time of preparation or feeding, can minimize the risks that come with giving your dog venison. I throw away all bones from the deer They are large animals with hard strong bones, I do not want to risk my dogs loosing their teeth.
