Murphy is Weird - Lemons are bad for dogs

DO NOT FEED A DOG LEMONS! (Or limes, and grapefruits are the worst of all 3). Before we have any upset folk he was only licking a small amount of lemon juice, he was not given rind, pith, or seeds to ingest which contain the chemicals which make lemons dangerous to dogs.

This clip is after I let him take a few licks of the juice on the couch with me expecting him to stop begging. Instead he made faces and kept wanting more. Never doubt the Beagle's desire for anything and everything. Keep in mind that while many dogs will refuse to eat these potentially toxic things (rind, pith the white part under the rind, and seeds are sickening and potentially deadly) because of a bad smell or flavor, and instinct that tells them bad smell and flavor means not safe, the Beagle will eat anything and then look for more.

He is happily playing still now, this was a very limited amount of licked juice only. Do not leave toxic fruits around your Beagle! (Or any dog)
