Dog brutalised in Bosnia....

"This truly left me speechless... Totally broke me... We went to feed the dogs on the streets today... And we went to one of our usual spots, where we always go when we have food... We started to call on the dogs and then we saw a horrible sight... One of the dogs we have been feeding for a long time lay on the ground, looked like he was sleeping. When he heard us, he lifted his head and then the rest of his body... Then he stopped and just looked at us for a few minutes... I wondered what was wrong with him because he`s always the first to run up to us... Then the darling tried to come over to us... Jumping little by little on his four legs with the first right leg 100 % fractured... He couldn`t walk on it at all... But what has happened to his other legs... Look at the video and you`ll see what I mean... I really have no words for this anymore... Then I saw that his friend also dragged her leg behind her... I walked over to the man who`s guarding the area where these dogs stay and asked him about what had happened to them... He told me that there are a lot of dogs wondering abound that factory. Most of them are very scared of people, but these two are friendly and cuddly... Some monster hit the big dog with his car. Then, instead of helping him, he had kicked both him and the other dog and hit them with a bat he had in his car... The guard I was talking to ran out and after the monster when this happened, but it all happened way to fast and he wasn`t fast enough to stop it... It seems to have been some drug addict, he said. He was screaming at the guard that he would return with a gun... So just imagine how they must have felt... And how I feel right now.. The guard also said that the dogs weren`t doing anything wrong... They weren`t running after the car... The poor big dog was just trying to cross the road at the wrong time... The poor white dog was sleeping at the sidewalk at the wrong time... What did they do wrong... Belief me, I don`t have any more strength to think about this... I`m aware of the amount of animals in my care and I know I shouldn`t take in new before at least half of them have homes, but what can I do... This happened a couple of days ago... He`s a big dog... He`s supposed to weigh about 60-70 kilos... Look what they did to him... He`s just skin and bones... He used to be fat... Now he doesn`t even have the strength to eat... He`s totally broken, this poor big creature... Isn`t he supposed to be happy on his old days... Does he have to be so battered... Not capable to run... Has he deserved this from humans... Why... Can somebody just tell me why?
His whole body hurts... While his gentle heart is trying to run over to us... He`s trying... I gave him 4 Rimadil and some vitamins we fortunately had in the car... But that`s not enough... He has to go to the vet, at least to ease his pain.. He will not be able to survive like this... And he can`t stay here... He can`t run away if the dog catchers come... Like this, neither he or his friend would have been able to survive for much longer... They were the only ones who always ran up to people and look what that gave them.."
