In this video I build on the principals of the dog whisperer at feeding time but I use Positive Reinforcement instead of dominance. The commands I learned from watching various video's on the subject including Victoria Stilwell's Teacher's Pet. I use constructive play as part of my proofing process. In this video I'm working on training my dogs on how to behave at feeding time. My goal is to get Prince & Rudy properly socialized and well mannered. I'm not a trainer, just a do it yourself kind of guy who loves his dogs, and has a passion for dog training. I hope that my videos will encourage others to start training their dogs. Trained dogs are far less likely to end up in shelters. Ask yourself, what kind of dog owner do I want to be? You don't have to go crazy in the training like I have, but you will need to set aside 10 to 15 minutes a day (4 to 5 days a week will do) training your dogs. I would love to hear about what you have done, and what training methods that you found to be successful. Please visit Doggie Doooooo on facebook and share your success. I've only had Prince for 2 months, and he has made tremendous progress. He is a high energy pit/mix who had very little impulse control. If I can do it, you can do it!
