Meet the obese dogs who enjoyed a diet of PASTA and biscuits - and would refuse to take their medication unless it was hidden in a CRUMPET.
Doting owner Alan Thomas, from Anfield, Liverpool, has admitted giving nine stone Cilla Black and seven-and-a-half stone Shyla treats like they were going out of fashion - but the podgy pooches have now been ordered to lose weight.
The 49-year-old admitted overfeeding his pooches, but said he wanted to make up for the awful start the former strays had in their lives.
Now the American bulldogs have been put on a strict diet by animal charity PDSA's Pet Fit Club and have been banned from having any treats at all.
