Why Do Dogs Growl?

Today we answer a lot of Questions: Why do dogs growl when playing? Why do dogs growl over food? Why do dogs growl when eating? Why do dogs growl when afraid? Why do dogs growl at mail man? Some times when a dog growl it is OK and other times it could be something we need to know.
So
WHY DO DOGS GROWL? Today we answer that question.
A lot of studies proven that growling is a major part of dogs communication with humans and dogs. And they also proved that
My Friend rescued this amazing lovely dog who loved bread any kind of bread and at the point my friend was new to feeding dogs, walking dogs . . . generally taking care of a dog and I was around so I help when I can.
And one time I had this big pieces of bread in my hand and I was cutting it into Pieces and feeding him.
I find it quite an amazing feeling to feed a dog any dog not just your dog so I started to give him small pieces of bread and I was quite aware that a lot of bread in one meal with nothing else could be bad for a dog.
So anyway three or four pieces down the line he started growling at me it was a very mild growl he was sitting up not standing I can not see his teeth and his nose and upper lip wasn’t pulled back so it
So I had this Question why is he growling at me, I am the only in the room the situation didn’t fit any of the five reasons I know for a dog growl or at least that is what I thought then.
And those Five reasons are:
Reason number one:
Fear - Dogs growl when they are afraid. A good example of this can be seen with dogs who are afraid of strangers and that most of the time is a standing dog and he or she will show other sign of aggression with his nose and upper lip pulled back.
It is their way in saying “Back Off” And that is WHY DO DOGS GROWL WHEN AFRAID?
Reason Number Two:
Defending territory – Sometimes dogs growl when they feel the need to defend their territory like growling at the mail-man approaching the door and again his body language will be an aggressive body language.
And that is WHY DO DOGS GROWL AT MAIL MAN?
Reason Number Three:
Pain - Dog growling may also occur due to the pain of an injury or illness and this is one very few times a dog can attack his human companion and that is when he or she are in sever pain.
And again his body language will be a very aggressive body language.
Reason number Four:
Playful – It is something like children yelling or laughing while playing with each other.
We usually see that in playing puppies and dogs, with no sign of aggression which is something we don’t need to worry about unless the growl bets lower in tone and become more throaty then we need to watch out for a fight and if so create a distraction to distract them and don’t try to separate them by hand unless your are trained.
And that is WHY DO DOGS GROWL WHEN PLAYING?
And Reason Number Five:
Possession Aggression - Some dogs growl over their possessions, what they consider as their own - as bowl of food, a toy, or even a human been.
And That is usually her or his way of saying, "This is mine, and I'm not sharing!" and that is WHY DO DOGS GROWL WHEN EATING?
So that actually bring me back to the story I was sharing with you. So I was giving him this pieces of bread and by pieces number five I felt his teeth on my finger I still actually remember how it felt. So I Done the three things I should do when Dog growl at you.
ONE – STOP WHAT YOU DOING.
TWO – ANALYSE THE SITUATION.
THREE – FIND ANOTHER WAY TO ACCOMPLISH YOU TARGET.
