Wild Dogs Devour Pregnant Impala - Okavango, Botswana

A single wild dog killed a pregnant impala as it tried to flee into the Okavango Delta, Botswana. As it fed, it removed an unborn fetus from the impala. The rest of the pack arrived, chasing a juvenile kudu, but gave up the chase in order to feed on the impala. As I approached to photograph, the alpha dog expressed its displeasure with an agressive display, as seen in the penultimate shot.
