Embroidery/sewing machine making clicking noise (feed dogs)

My embroidery/sewing machine kept making a clicking noise. No, it wasn't the needle.... it was the feed dogs!! I must have put the throat plate on incorrectly. So everytime the needle went up, and the feed dogs went down, it clicked!

To resolve this I simply took off the plate, made sure to check underneath that all components were okay, then put the plate on (my singer machine makes it hard to put it on in the "right" place.) The clicking went away!!!

Just wanted to share because every video was saying it was the needle. It's not always the needle!!!! My needle made the noise going slowly and in the up position, so that was obvious. It was difficult to know "where" the clicking was originating. I originally thought it was at the head of the machine. I took off the plastic covering of the head to inspect. The noise reaaaaallly sounded like it was coming from here! But no it wasn't! It was coming from the bottom - the feed dogs. So make sure you have your throat plate in the right position every time.
