How Much Raw Food Should My Dog Eat?

Dislike 0 Published on 4 Dec 2013

As noted by dog behavioural expert Ryan O'Meara raw food diets are great as they allow your dog’s weight to self-regulate. Your dog would not get fat eating a raw diet in the wild as it’s natural for it to eat what it needs instinctively. We believe this natural behaviour carries through with raw fed diets, your dog will eat as much or as little as it needs regardless of how much you give it.

There may be an initial adjustment period but your animals instincts will kick in and the natural behaviour will help your dog be a healthy weight because it will only eat as much as it can handle. This allows pet parents to safely take a more laissez faire attitude to feeding their dog.
