CLEANING older dog's paws

It is very important to take good care of your dog's paws as they touch the ground a lot. Keep their nails cut short and keep the excessive hairs around the paws trimmed. Their paws should stay dry and if they are wet a lot there a danger of getting infections. Another way that I clean my dog's paws is lifting the paw and dipping it in a small bucket and dry it with a towel. I repeat the same for each paw and then, I either apply dog balm or coconut oil. It is refreshing for their nails and paw pad, If their pawpad gets cracked or injured it can be very painful. Coconut oil also helps keep paw pads and nails safe from germs, bacteria and infections. I prefer applying Coconut oil just in case they lick it.
