!VERY IMPORTANT ! YOU MUST ASK FOR: ANIMAL NUMBER!!!!

Some of the dogs (20-30) in this video have been their between Aug - Dec 2015. Lets find them their forever homes. Check out a volunteer run facebook page to help network the dogs: https://www.facebook.com/Pinal-County-Animal-Control-Animals-in-Need-1706101926292247/

Please contact the Pinal county call center at (520) 509-3555 and ask to speak to an adoption coordinator for more information on this pet. Better yet - visit the shelter! There can be 200-300 animals at the shelter and the majority are strays with no known background information. The best way to know if a dog/cat will fit into your family is a meet and greet with the dog/cat.

LOW ADOPTION FEE COVERS: neuter/spay (procedure scheduled after fee is paid), microchip, vaccinations, and Pinal County animal license!

To view ALL of our dogs and cats go to petharbor.com. Please follow these steps: Step 1) zip 85122 (enter) Step 2) select Pinal County then click on 'search selected shelter. Step 3) select "LOST MY PET" (this is the only way to view all available pets at the shelter). Breed and age is subjective.

There's WORK involved in pet ownership! EDUCATE yourself. Don't be scared, be REALISTIC.

Before you decide to add a canine companion to the family, take an honest assessment of your personality and lifestyle to determine if you’re well-suited for dog ownership. Getting a dog is not a trial and error proposition. Either you are ready for a lifetime commitment of the dog’s life, or not.

The decision to get a dog needs to be carefully thought out. Do you honestly have the time to take care of a dog? Are you prepared to walk it every day to insure she is adequately exercised? Are you prepared to show the dog consistent leadership? Are you prepared to train it? Do your children know how to properly handle a dog? What kind of dog should you get? Do you have the finances to properly care for a pet? Do you understand the energy level of some breeds (some dogs need a LOT of exercise; do your research!)?

As any devoted dog parent can tell you, the rewards of dog ownership are tremendous for those who enter the relationship for the RIGHT reasons, and are fully prepared to make a 10 to 20 year commitment to their canine companion.

If you're not ready to commit to a living, breathing, feeling, and wholly dependent creature. Consider volunteering at your local animal shelter, or become a foster parent to a fur-baby. The shelters are OVERFLOWING with dogs and cats. Please don't add your pet to this crisis situation. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

BREED IDENTIFICATION: Is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
