Not every litter you deliver will be a smooth process. Most times your dam will deliver all her pups and everything will be rosie. But there are other times when things don't go as intended. Breeding dogs is easy. Delivering puppies can have it's challenges. In this video i highlight the realities of dog labor and puppy delivery. We like to let nature take it's course and let mom handle all the work, But sometimes we need to step in. Most times is only to assist and getting mom and pup easier access to each other or helping a pup get to his nipple. There are other cases where it gets more intense. In the case of pups that are stuck, pups born weak or lifeless, or many other do labor complications, hands on and experience can be the difference between life and death for the pup or serious complications for the mom. A good understanding of the process is very important at the time of labor. I hope this video helps you understand a lil of the process of dog labor and delivery.
