1. The breed is known as a true and quite possibly the last of the coursing mastiffs. Overall impression is powerful, balanced and athletic.
2. Cane corso is a very versatile utility breed, they are very agile for their size allowing them to excel in many different tasks such as big game hunting, herding, guarding live stock and protection works.
3. Cane corso is very alert. They are highly valued as a companion and guard dog . They are naturally watchful for their family members, properties and live stock.
4. Cane corso is a highly intelligent and calm-natured breed. Because they are also sensitive, eager to please, with a good attention span they are relatively easy to train.
5. Although their double coat protects them from cold weather they are relatively easy to groom.
6. Living inside the house; Cane corso is not known to be a noisy breed.
Give your dog some exercise daily.
They usually are quite and calm around the house. With good structure they can learn your house rules very well.
7. Cane Corso's loyalty for its owners is second to none. They are loyal and affectionate with their families and great with children.
In summary, Cane Corso is a fantastic breed. If you are looking for a mastiff that is not a couch potato, strong, athletic with stable temperament. Cane corso might just be the dog for you.
