Mr.Ganeshan Ramanathan hailing from Nerkuppai village near Singampunari in Tamil Nadu has been growing these Indian breed dogs who got it from Mr.Pon Ram from Sivagangai district. Chippiparai/Kanni is one of the best breeds for hunting purposes. These breeds are also known for it's ferociousnous, loyalty, affection and companionship. It grows for more than 30 inches with a thin tail. And recently this breed has been included in the Indian Army too which is a big boost for native / indian dog lovers.
