Visit your local dog show!! Talk to breeders and learn more about breeds you are interested in!

There are dog shows every weekend and likely one near you each month or so. There are websites (akc.org) and other show superintendent websites that have this info. Come, meet breeders of the breed you are interested in and see all the dogs! I will be getting a microphone soon (sorry about the audio). I am happy to answer any questions you have about dog shows, how to find them, what to ask breeders, etc. You will be able to watch conformation, obedience, agility, rally and sometimes other fun events! Only caution I have is that dogs that aren't entered are not allowed, so you can go the first time and learn how to get involved so you can bring your dog in the future!
