EXPOSING CRUELTY IN PUPPY MILLS - Severely Neglected Ex-Breeding French Bulldog

Dislike 0 Published on 8 Jan 2017

On New Year’s Eve, we rescued 9 ex-breeding dogs, many who were very sick (http://bit.ly/2iVlBeJ).

One of them was a 6yr old French Bulldog, who had severe medical problems, including anaemia, skin ear, eye infections and advanced heartworm disease with complications in the lungs. Codenamed “Frenche 1”, she was a beautiful, sweet girl, who loved our company. It was the first time she had the chance to explore the world, and she would trot along, sniff the surroundings, and come tp us, asking for pats.

Frenchie 1 fell very ill yesterday.
When rushed to the vet, she was found to be in right heart failure. She was in severe discomfort. She would die, breathless and in pain, if left alone; and she was too weak to withstand heartworm treatment. Her vet recommended that we put her to sleep, to end her suffering.

Before she left the world, we named her Opal - a precious gem, who had no chance to experience the love and warmth of a family, but instead, spent her whole life in captivity making money for a breeder who did not care about her well being. She was a money making factory which produced puppies for her unscrupulous breeder. When she fell ill, she received no medical care, and was left to suffer and die, slowly and painfully.

Opal’s death must not be in vain.
Her suffering must be used to expose the cruelty present in so many puppy mills. She must be the catalyst to call for tighter regulations of breeders, to make sure, once and for all, that puppy mills ensure a minimal standard of care for their breeding dogs.

YOU CAN HELP MAKE THAT CHANGE.
Share the video, to show the world, the suffering, cruelty, and inhumanity, which happens everyday, when you decide to buy that puppy in the window.
