To feed eggs or to not feed eggs
Eggs are high in protein, after all they create life.
I have fed raw eggs to my chickens forever, usually as a treat or if they are poorly. They are easy to digest and often all they can eat when they are poorly along with melon and maybe a bit of cooked brown rice.
I have never had a problem with them digesting eggs or getting ill from eggs. Chickens have fairly robust digestive systems and can pretty much eat anything!
So I do give them eggs and they love them.
You can decided for yourselves whether you want ot treat your chickens with the odd raw egg, or whether its something you may give them when they need a boost and a bit more protein.
If you are unsure try hard boiled chopped eggs!
