Oklahoma chicken farmer (BL Cozad) who would like to get organic feed, is unable to buy it because its not sold nor manufactured any where in the entire state of Oklahoma. Therefore he has no choice but to buy GMO (genetically modified organism food) to feed his chickens because that's about GMO feed about all that's available in Oklahoma.
Currently, there is movement underway as talks continue amongst Oklahoma farming community to start an organic feed mill to accommodate local farmers.
Cozad raises game cocks in Comanche County Oklahoma. This interview was done in Hughes County Oklahoma on August 10, 2012.
