Easy fix to prevent wild birds from eating chicken feed. We're based in Mesa, AZ, and have 10 laying hens. Plus a few other tips for raising backyard chickens. UPDATE: I removed the tarp and built a small cutout "doggie door" at the bottom. I hung a towel from it to shield small birds out. The chickens come and go as they please.
