Fried Chicken Wings Record Challenge in Michigan!!

A&Z #721 - Atlas vs The 50 Wing Challenge at The Winter Inn in Greenville, Michigan. At the end of April 2019, my Further U team and I traveled up to Michigan to attempt three food challenges around the Detroit and Grand Rapids metro areas. For challenge #3 on that Sunday, I went to The Winter Inn in Greenville, Michigan which is northeast of Grand Rapids. There I attempted The Winter Inn's 50 Wing Challenge and also kicked off their Fried Chicken Wings Record Challenge. The wings were incredible and had so much flavor, so juicy that the meat was just falling off the bones. BIG thanks to The Winter Inn's ownership and staff for the wonderful hospitality and thanks to everyone who came that day to watch and meet me!! We had a great weekend in Michigan and I cannot wait to get back up and see everyone again soon!!

The Winter Inn's 50 Chicken Wing Challenge ($25):
Challengers have 1 hour to finish 50 hand-breaded chicken wings and you can choose a mixture of sauces if desired. If you finish all 50, you win the meal free, a sweet t-shirt, $25 gift card, and your name gets added to their Wall of Fame. If you feel brave enough, you can also attempt to set a new record for most wings eaten within 1 hour. Before I attempted this challenge, the record was 61. Every time someone tries and fails to break the record, $10 cash goes into a jackpot which starts out at $200 and builds from there. If you can break the record, you win all the base prizes plus however much cash is in the jackpot. Good luck and the challenge can be taken anytime that the restaurant is open. You may want to schedule your challenge in advance just in case. If not interested in the wings, they have lots of great other food too!!
